UTASS has a number of spaces that are available for private hire and community use
Fully accessible with a lift from the ground floor. All abilities WC available, including baby change facilities. On-street parking is available and parking is also available at the nearby Hill Car Park
Wifi is available throughout.
Our Rooms for Hire Include
The Blue Room
The largest of our spaces, maximum capacity 120.
Wall-mounted screen available for use with projector and laptop.
Furniture allows for a variety of set-up options from table seating to theatre style.
The space is light and airy and well suited for training and performances, as well as meetings and other social functions.
Upstairs at UTASS
Multi-use space in the attic with great natural light. The room can either be set up in a formal meeting room style for up to 20 people or informally use sofa-style seating for small groups.
TV available for use for video-conferencing and virtual meetings.
The Café
An informal space with sofa style seating and an assortment of games including pool and table football
Fully equipped kitchen available for use (double oven, microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, kettles, crockery and glasses)
Seats around 8 on sofa style seating, can also be reconfigured with table and chair style seating for approximately 20 people
121 Room
A small office space designed for one-to-one or very small group work/ meetings.
Desk available for use, in addition to comfortable seating.
A great space for home workers who may be looking for a change of scene to focus on tasks or meet people.
The Community Computer Suite
Providing four desktop computers for community use.
A small table is included, which can be used for paper-based/ group work and computer-based training.
Standard room hire is £10/ hour for one space or £15/ hour for two spaces simultaneously.
Tea & coffee can be provided alongside hire at a price of 80p/ person.
Need Catering?
We can assist in arranging catering to meet your needs through our work with local businesses should you wish to provide food at your event.
