Support for farm businesses across the dales continues to be at the heart of our work.
Our Agricultural Support Team help farming families deal with farm paperwork and record keeping; supporting people to develop skills in completing complex paperwork and establishing more efficient digital record systems relating to stock movements, animal health and accounts.
We share information in regular briefings for farming members, distilling key messages and essential information from Defra and others that is relevant to the running of local farm businesses.
We hold events and meetings on specific issues throughout the year, relevant to farming here in the dales.
We also build relationships with key partners and attend various discussion groups and roundtable meetings to represent those living and working on farms across the dales, in conversations that affect them.
